Beldanga area is situated at the east bank of river Bhagirathi. It has no very old history. Most of the places of this area don't have any object before seventeenth century.
Then one really important object is present here. That is:-

TOMB OF MEER MADAN:
Location: It is located at Faridpur village. Faridpur is in the three kilometre west of Reginagar railway station of Sealdah- Lalgola line. About Meer Madan: Meer Madan was the general of Nawab Siraj- Ud- Doullah, in the battle of Plassey (1757 A.D.). He was killed by bursting his own canon in the battle field. After his death Nawab was completely defeated. He was buried beside the tomb of Peer Farid Sahib.
