In this page the objects which are not so reputed or not so popular among the tourists but have a great historical values are described.

JAIN TEMPLE:
In Jiaganj this Jain temple is situated. Jiaganj is very important town from a long days. In this town many attractive palaces of famous and rich Jain merchants and two more Jain temples are present.

MAHULA:
It is a village under Beldanga police station. This village is the birth place of Mr. Rambrahma Sanyal (1849A.D.), the founder superintendent of Calcutta Zoological Garden. Actually he was a doctor but his sheer interest in Zoology made him an animal lover rather than a doctor. In 1892 he published "A Handbook of the Management of Animals in Captivity in Lower Bengal", perhaps the first of its kind. Now the ruins of his own house and the adjacent Narayana temple bear the heritage of a pioneering scholar in Zoology in our country.

BERHAMPORE ADMINISTRATIVE BUILDING:
This building is a new building of modern architecture. In this building the office of Additional District Magistrate and other important offices are present.

MURSHIDABAD MUSEUM:
This museum is situated in the Jiaganj Municipal area. The land for this museum building was donated by zamindar Ray Bahadur Surendra Narayana Singh Nehaliya and the building was erected by the State Government in 1964. The objects were collected by the zamindar himself for his sheer interest in History. This museum contains the ancient texts such as the translations of SIOKI by Hsuan Tsang, hundreds of stones and different metal statues. But unfortunately this museum is not opened for the public.

FIRST RAJBHAWAN:
After the grant of diwani from Mughal Emperor the English decided to establish their capital at Murshidabad. In 1790 the diwani headquarter was set up to Felicity Hall (Later popularly known as Banjetia House) in Madapur, near Berhampore. The John Company i.e., the East India Company bought the Felicity Hall from an English merchant. When diwani headquarter was shifted to Calcutta, then Cossimbazar Raj family bought that house and Raja Krishnath used that palace as his garden palace. In 1957 Murshidabad Institute of Technology was set up in this palace. But in the month of August, 2000 the Felicity Hall was demolished. But now in that campus Murshidabad Institute of Technology has stood in a new and glamourous look.

ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH:
Behind the Berhampore Girls' College this church is situated. Adjacent to this church Marry Immaculate school, managed by the authority of this church is situated.
