Saidabad is in the north of today's Berhampore town.
Important heritages of this area are as follows:-

ARMENIAN CHURCH:
Period of Erection:
It is erected in 1758 A.D. by Poganj. Description: The church was erected in 1655 A.D. but that was destroyed. The second one was constructed at a cost of Rs.-2,36000/-. It is the oldest church in this district. 

SWETA KHAN'S POND:
This pond is also excavated by the Armenians in 1759 A.D.

FARASDANGA KUTHI:
Year of Erection:
It was erected in 1734 A.D. by Dupleix. Description: This was situated at the bank of river Bhagirathi. Dupleix was the administrator of the French company.  At the ruins of the Kuthi the old water-works of Berhampore town was built afterwards.

DAYAMAYEE TEMPLE COMPLEX:
Year of Erection:
It is erected in 1759 A.D. by Krishnendra Hota. Description: The main temple of Goddess Kali is situated here along with other thirteen small temples surrounded by a wall.

PALACE OF NANDAKUMAR:
It was the residence of Maharaja Nandakumar who was illegally hanged by the British Government. In this house three simple temples of Shiva, Laxmi- Narayana and Brindabanchandra are present.
